Creating Lewis blends avant-pop, neo-soul, and musical theatre to investigate collective care, systems of power, authentic wholeness, and radical love. The name “Lewis” has roots meaning “famous warrior.” I’m curious to explore how we embody a warrior during these times. In what ways do we show up with courage, do we stay present in the struggle for wholeness, healing, repair, life and freedom? This project steps into liminal space and core questioning with harmony, power, and heart. Through Creating Lewis and Naked Dinner, I hope to connect with other artists, shapeshifters, organizers, and dreamers.

Naked Dinner, is a wish, a vision of how we might commune with one another in our authentic wholeness. I envision a place where we gather and embrace each other wholly and holy, as we are, in this moment. A place where we don’t have to pay to be ourselves. A place that rejoices in multiplicity of expression and reverence to process. A space that honors composting and death as necessary and natural transmutation.
